I can’t stop time, but I can capture a moment. That is what photography means to me; even though a moment cannot physically be relived, the impact a single image has on our internal nervous system is incomparable. Photographs allow you to feel exactly what you had felt in an exact moment and that is so incredibly powerful. I carry a camera with me at all times just in case there is something that I really want to remember, I'm able to quickly snap a photo. Being able to also do that for other humans during some of the biggest life milestones they will experience is a privilege like no other. These are times where you should be fully immersed in each second – I’ll be right by your side to capture it all, and your memories will live on forever.

The days fade fast, but your images will always be with you.

So all I ask of you is to be your true self. Bring on the imperfection, the belly laughs, tears of joy…all of the above, and end your time with me feeling alive and empowered, and photographs to prove it.

THE PHOTOGRAPHER

THE HUMAN

I’m simple. I’m independent, a homebody, and enjoy the little things; a warm latte on a brisk winter morning, an evening summer stroll with my cat, Mia, visiting local businesses and getting lost in antique shops. I try to find beauty in everything. I am deeply inspired by architecture and vintage fashion and furniture – those who know me will tell you that I was born in the wrong era and most likely lived during the 60s & 70s in my past life.

When I’m not in Chicago, you will find me out west in either Arizona or Los Angeles, California. Don’t ask me to choose between the beach and the dessert, it’s both in my book. I love the warmth, even though I’m wearing an oversized sweater 99% of the time.

I stopped taking life too seriously many years ago, and learned to take life as it comes because, while everything does happen for a reason, everything happens exactly when it is supposed to. We cross paths with the people we do, when we do, because we’re supposed to. Life tests us when it does because there is always something for us to learn from it. Our successes take time, and our desires are granted when the universe knows we are ready for it. Don’t rush through it, be present in the journey.

There is so much more to explore out there than we know, you just have to go out and find it – and I’m glad you’ve found me here.
